System requirements
Check these before you run the BIM Pro AI add-in. Install it with Revit closed (see Quick start), then come back to this list when you are ready to use the tool.
- 01
Revit 2025, 2026, or 2027 installed
BIM Pro AI is an add-in for Revit 2025, 2026, or 2027. Install a supported version before you continue.
- 02
Project open in a supported Revit version
Open the model you want to run through BIMPro. Mission Control will not start on an empty Revit session.
- 03
Area plan in the project
This is the model requirement that matters most. BIMPro reads spatial ownership from a Revit Area plan — not from a floor plan alone. The project needs an Area plan view with Areas placed for the program. Without that plan, Setup cannot continue and Scan will not find program spaces.
- 04
Connected to the internet
The add-in checks your Autodesk identity and subscription against BIMPro services.
- 05
Signed into Autodesk in the browser
Use the same Autodesk ID you use in Revit. Create a BIMPro account and link that ID on the account portal.
